90-94 Miata Alternator

Three bolts secure the alternator.
-One hold down bolt on the top..
-One tensioner bolt to hold the belt tension.
-One pivot bolt on the bottom.

You may have to remove the plastic engine shield under the car to access
the pivot bolt.

Loosen all three bolts and the alternator can pivot on the bottom bolt. Adjust or replace
belts as needed. Crank up the tensioner to the desired belt tension. Tighten down the
other two bolts.
